Spring is here and so is the rain! In our area many houses have basements and along with that comes the chance for flooding when in rains. In turn many home owners rely on sump pumps to keep there basements dry. Think about it for a minute and ask your self these questions.
Do you have a basement? Do you have a sump pump? Do you have a battery back up system?
Having a working sump pump along with a battery back up can be key to keeping your basement dry and help you to save thousands of dollars in flooding damages. If you have a basement and you don’t have a sump pump or a battery back up I strongly recommend that you take a moment and consider the options.
If you already own a sump pump remember just like any other piece of equipment your sump pump can become out dated, need repairs or need to be replaced. A sump pump that is not working properly is the same as not having a sump pump at all. Remember to get you sump pump inspected to insure it is working properly.
The cost of repairing, replacing or adding a sump pump is cheaper than the alternative, spend a little now and save a lot later!
